Allow me to "crochet" you a picture

Updated: Apr 10, 2020

Hi, my name is Teresa. Welcome to my site, T Salt Creations!

Years ago, my grandmother taught me the basics of crocheting. It took me a bit (by "bit" I mean many years... many, many years) to grasp, but I finally got it.

Over the years, I found different patterns to try. Most of the time, I had difficulty making sense of the patterns and just what the heck I was even doing. I reached out to my grandmother and pleaded for help which she so gracefully supplied. And where she couldn't provide guidance, YouTube had my back.

YouTube has become one of my closest friends, guiding me through disparaging times of frustration and teaching me so much about the fine craft that is crocheting. It got to the point where I developed a passion for it, and it became so therapeutic. Over the years, I crocheted several items as gifts, and the eventual special request for friends and family. Those very same friends and family eventually encouraged me to start my own business.

July of 2018, I set my reservations aside and decided I was going to do it. I was going to start my own crochet business. However, once the ball got rolling, I became really nervous. Many thoughts came to mind....was I doing the right thing...... will anyone go to my website and purchase something.......will I make money doing this......is this a waste of my time? Those thoughts repeated incessantly in my head. I was terrified.... but I did it anyway. I thought to myself, I will never know unless I try... and now look at me.. blogging and whatnot.

July 2020 will mark my 2nd year anniversary. Over the past year and a half, I have learned a few things.....what I can do better and what I can do away with. I'm sure, as I continue on, I will only continue to learn.

I dedicate my first blog to my grandmother, Betty M. Day, my sister, Patti A. Conner and my family. Without my grandmother, I may have never started to crochet. My sister was my biggest fan, and my family for the support they give me and continue to give me. Most of all, I thank Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
